Healthy Living Recipe Club Recipes

Oriental (or Crunchy) Coleslaw

Dry Ingredients:
1 pkg ramen noodles (oriental or chicken flavor)
1 16 oz package cole slaw
2-3 chopped green onions
3 oz slivered almonds
1/4 cup salted sunflower seeds

In a large bowl, break up ramen noodles. Then mix in all of the dry ingredients. Set Aside.

Dressing:
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
Seasoning package from ramen noodles

Combine wet ingredients. Stir until dissolved (sometimes warming the vinegar will help to mix thoroughly..

Pour dressing over dry ingredients right before serving. Mix well.
